News

If you're checking this site (chris-warne.com), then you know I've moved my personal pages off Housexy.com.

I've had a few requests to post my weekly HouseFM radio show tracklist up, so if you check the 'Charts' page, you'll be able to see what was played. Don't forget, you can catch me on air every Sunday morning 10am - Midday on HouseFM (88.6fm, London/M25 area)

Apologies if you've checked for updates and found none, I'll own up to having been 'LATE' on this - too much to do and no time to do it!

So, what's coming up?......April 2004.....

Saturday 1st May - Housexy@Pacha with our special guest PA - Barbara Tucker - flying in especially from NYC.

Check the www.housexy.com site for all the info.

Every 3rd Saturday of the Month, you'll find me in deepest, darkest Essex at Traffic in Dunmow - about 5 miles from Stansted Airport. Check www.soulpher.com for info.

With the Easter Bank Holiday almost upon us, myself and the 'Soulpher' guys (James and Paul) will be doing a special night at Traffic on Thursday 8th April from 8pm - 1am.

In addition, you'll find Paul (DJ Nervous) and myself playing Soulpher@JR's on 24th April. This will be a strange one as JR's is my old residency - before the 'chart' music policy came in, which, I'm glad to say, has been revoked for one Saturday each month - hence Soulpher!

Looking further ahead, myself and DJ Leo (HouseFM) will be heading over to Poland for three nights, 20th - 22nd May - Poznan and Warsaw. HouseFM heads to Poland. Full details will appear here soon.

I'll try to keep the site updated a little more regularly in future!

Housexy@Pacha, Saturday 6th March

Thanks to everyone who came and supported on the night - all 950 of you! Kathy Brown was simply superb and the night was a complete success. The next Housexy@Pacha is on Saturday 1st May and if you thought Kathy was good, wait until you hear who we've got lined up for the next one!

You can get more info from the www.housexy.com site, along with a few pictures taken on the night. We've got some .avi's too which we hope to get online soon.

Mixmag were in the house too, so look out for a review of the launch in the next edition!

Saturday 6th March

From 8th February, you can catch me every Sunday on HouseFM (88.6fm London and surrounding counties)

10am - Midday

2 hours of Deep & Soulful grooves, some from years gone by, a few brand new exclusive tracks and as many competitions as I can get prizes for.

Make sure you call/text the studio and let me know you're out there!

Saturday 21st February 2004

Myself, James Hayter (Dj Etteiio) and Paul Morden (Dj Nervous) back for session 2 of Soulpher at Traffik in Dunmow, Essex

The three of us will split the residency, which launched on the 7th, but thereafter continues on the 3rd Saturday of every month from 21st Feb. Expect to see at least two of us there at each event.

Soulful House & US Garage from 8pm until late with free entry and sensible drinks prices.

check www.soulpher.com for more info

Friday January 23rd

Concorde Atlantique, Paris

We headed across the channel again on the 23rd for a night of Deep & Soulful House Music.

Myself & Nick Ferro (wwdj/Brunel Rooms) joined Jean-Laurent, DJ Seb K and DJ Small on board the 700 cap Concorde Atlantique.

Past guests have included Kerri Chandler, DJ Gregory, Bob Sinclar, DJ Deep, RLP, so we knew we had a job on our hands!

The night was a complete success, with over 150 people queuing before the club had even opened. The queue lasted well into the small hours and the venue was packed. A seriously good night and feedback on the ParisBouge.com forum has been all positive. Expect to see more dates in Paris later in the year.

Thanks to everyone who came along and supported.

Friday December 19th

Brunel Rooms, Swindon

10pm - 4am

Main room - Mark Doyle, Hatty Lovehearts and Craig Bartlett (L'America)

Amphi - Nick Ferro, Chris Warne and Neil Young playing a mixture of classic House, Soul, Funk, & Disco.

This was the best night at Brunel so far. The Kandi 'ballroom' was busy - not bad for 1000 cap - but the Amphi was rammed. ::Southern /Divide:: made the trip from Cardiff, aswell as many L'America regulars swelling the numbers and making a very knowledgable, up for it, crowd.

Thanks to all those that came along and I'm sure we'll see you in the West Country again soon.
